Take Massachusetts Avenue downtown to Dupont Circle. Follow signs for Connecticut Avenue (alternatively, take Connecticut Avenue from Chevy Chase all the way south). Take Connecticut Avenue a number of blocks to K Street. Turn left onto K Street. 1627 K Street is one and a half blocks east, on the left.

From Route 50 Maryland (Prince George's County):
Route 50 turns into New York Avenue in the District. Follow New York Avenue to 7th Street (at Mt. Vernon Square); turn left on 7th Street and then take the first right to get back to New York Avenue. Continue on New York Avenue to 12th Street; turn right on 12th Street and then turn left on K Street. 1627 K Street will be on your right before you come to 17th Street.
